Why is the Red Sox play for real in Japan, but will play in preseason games later in the week?
Ok I know I'm not the brighest man on earth, but Bud Selig should smoke the pipe a bit too much. I do not care if they open the games in Japan, but they play two games against Dodgers, which means nothing is totally ridiculous. How does that work? Has there ever been playing a game like this where one day and told a couple of days later, the game is just an exhibition?
This dilapidated to schedule a disadvantage to the Red Sox for a few weeks of the season. Do not expect Red Sox run away with the division so early.
